The Archives of India - our latest art collection

Altrove is excited to launch its latest Art Print Collection, a curation of rare pieces from the 1700s, bringing India's deep rooted culture to the forefront. Each artwork has been meticulously scanned and restored, showcasing the timeless beauty of Indian craftsmanship. This collection is more than décor—it's a celebration of artistry that bridges the past and present, offering pieces that add history, texture, and character to any space.

Shreya, Our founder, has long been captivated by the subtlety and texture of Impressionist oil paintings. Introduced to the world of art by her mother during her school years, she has since been inspired by the works of Monet, Van Gogh, Cézanne, Sisley, and other renowned masters. Whenever she travels, she seeks out these masterpieces in museums around the world. Since then we have been on the hunt for pieces that bring the European impressionist oil painting texture to an Indian context, gathering rare works from archives around the world.

This collection reflects Altrove's commitment to creating purposeful, lasting designs. Each piece carries a story—capturing timeless aesthetics. The art is not disposable or fleetingly trendy, but curated to serve as a canvas for creativity and self-expression. Altrove believes in the enduring value of craftsmanship, and these pieces are the perfect embodiment of that philosophy.

Altrove's focus is on creating art that not only looks beautiful but tells a story and adds meaning to the spaces they adorn.

With the launch of this new collection, Altrove invites art enthusiasts to reconnect with India’s rich cultural history, bringing it into their homes and lives. These artworks, with their understated beauty and timeless appeal, will enhance any space, offering heritage along with modern design. Whether for a home, gallery, or office, these pieces are an opportunity to experience art that transcends time.
