Return & Exchange Policy

Returns
At Altrove, each product is handcrafted in small batches, with a focus on thoughtful design and Indian craftsmanship. We ask that you shop mindfully and reach out to us with any questions before placing your order — we’re happy to help you make an informed decision.

For Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Items:
If you receive a product that is damaged in transit, defective, or not what you ordered, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery, along with supporting photos and a description of the issue. Once reviewed and approved, we will arrange for a return pickup and offer you a replacement or store credit, depending on availability and your preference.

For All Other Returns:
We review non-defect return requests on a case-by-case basis. Products must be unused, unwashed, and in their original packaging with all tags intact. If such requests are approved, the return will be eligible for store credit only, and a return shipping fee of 10% of the product value will be deducted from the credited amount. We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet our quality and policy criteria.

Return Process:
To initiate a return, please write to us at hello@altrove.in or message us via WhatsApp at +91 9028777440 with your order number, the item in question, and supporting photos (if applicable). Our team will review your request and get back to you within 2–3 business days with next steps.

If the return is approved, you will receive details on the pickup process or shipping instructions. Please ensure the item is securely packed in its original packaging. Once the returned item reaches us and passes quality checks, your store credit or replacement will be processed within 7 working days.

Exchanges
We do not offer direct product exchanges. If you'd like a different item, you may submit a return request (subject to approval) and place a new order separately. This helps ensure faster fulfillment and accurate inventory tracking.

Cancellations
Orders can be canceled for a full refund only if the cancellation request is received before dispatch. Once the order has left our warehouse, cancellations are no longer possible. However, you may submit a return request after delivery, in accordance with our return policy.

Non-Returnable Items
The following categories are not eligible for return or exchange unless they arrive damaged or defective: custom or made-to-order items, items marked as final sale, and fragile items such as mirrors, ceramics, or glassware.
