Ash planter is crafted from terracotta and undergoes a second wood-firing process that transforms the iron oxide in the clay into a stunning, dark hue. Each piece develops its unique character during this process, influenced by its position in the kiln. The smoke infuses the clay with rich, organic tones, ensuring no two pieces are alike.

Water Use:
Using filtered or drinking water instead of tap water can help reduce mineral build-up and make maintenance easier.

Maintenance:
If used with water, empty, rinse, and air-dry every 1–2 days to maintain freshness.

Optional Protection:
Our vases are intentionally left uncoated on the inside to allow flowers to breathe naturally. If you prefer added protection, a clear interior varnish can be applied.
